Training & Initiation
What to expect
Training and Initiation walk side by side in our Coven. If you want to join the North Coven, you must request initiation, and then the training period will start.

The initiation requires time, effort and study. The North Coven works with the principle of polarity. If initiated, you’ll be working with people of different genders in person. We also work in skyclad, so please consider these variables if you want to join us.
Is this for me?
Before requesting to be part of our coven, please, inform yourself about the Alexandrian Tradition, research as much as you can about traditional witchcraft and get in touch with other groups and even other paths. It is essential to be able to choose consciously before making a choice.

Commitment with the Craft
This is not a virtual coven. Members must be able to attend our in person meetings according to the coven schedule.
Before initiation, you will receive a list of suggested books and perform magical exercises on regular basis. Be sure you have available time for this kind of commitment.

After initiation, you must participate in training circles in Ottawa or Quebec City, plus sabbats and esbats.
Admission steps
After asking for Initiation, we'll schedule an in-person interview, and if all goes well, you will be accepted as a student for weekly training classes. These classes do not have a minimum time period. It will depend on your evolution as a student.

Being accepted as a student does not grant initiation. Everyone is free to come and go according to their own will but be aware that being part of a coven is like a relationship that demands time, commitment and trust.
